Initially, I worked with Jamy when I was contracted as the Technology Management Consultant to parkIQ Pty Ltd, a company that provided parking technology to major Australian clients such as Secure Parking.
During that period, we expanded parkIQ from being a software services provider into a full turnkey hardware and software supplier, which required much re-jigging of the accounting process at parkIQ, where Jamy’s assistance and modelling services were vital to the transformation of this company.
More recently, I was given the role to create an Australian technology subsidiary of EFT Solutions Ltd, which is a listed Fintech company on the Hong Kong stock exchange, where it is a major force in the payment transaction processing services of that country.
Setting up NT as a subsidiary of EFT Solutions and turning it into a profitable niche market Fintech operation over the past few years was greatly assisted by Jamy’s services, as he needed to immerse himself into our business model, as well as being our interface to KPMG who we selected as our auditors.
Furthermore, we were able to rely on Jamy to provide all the not insubstantial reporting requirements of the HK based parent company regarding the financial planning of NT and the ongoing monthly accounts.
In addition, Jamy has been invaluable in his input for the registration and accounting management of the NT R&D claims with the Australian government.
